Jay studied his Bachelor of Commerce with majors in Finance & Accounting and received several awards for high academic achievement. He then went on to complete a Graduate Diploma of Financial Planning. While studying, Jay also held several jobs and owned his own small business in which he was able to develop close relationships with clients and strategies to assist them in meeting their goals. Here he began to see the positive impacts that you can have on a client in need of advice.

Since joining Specialist Financial Solutions, Jay has seen those same moments of clarity and relief on clients faces as they go from not knowing where and how to start, to having a clear understanding of how and what is needed to reach their goals and having that plan set out for them, and it has instilled in him a passion for the potential of the Financial Services industry.

Outside of work Jay devotes his time to his family, keeping fit, and continuous self-development. Jay has a 7 year old boy who keeps him on his toes and he enjoys visiting the gym, beach, hiking, and listening to audiobooks and podcasts.
